LOS BRAVÚ AT VOLTA NY 2020

We are pleased to announce our 5th participation in  VOLTA ART FAIR NEW YORK with Spanish duo LOS BRAVÚ , from Wed, Mar 4, 2020 – Sun, Mar 8, 2020 on Metropolitan West, New York. Most of their pictorial production emerges from their residences around the world. For this single show we present a selection of paintings made on both sides of the Atlantic, an artistic journey from a cultural standpoint, between West Africa and the Caribbean. During 2019, chance or destiny took Los Bravú to three outstanding destinations of the colonial past: Santo Domingo, Cadiz and Senegal. Their art is a constant reformulation of the academic resources of Renaissance and Baroque painting, worked from an ironic perspective focusing on the social and cultural peripheries.

We seal the first quarter with an astounding show by dominican master and french senate laureate José García Cordero with his OPERA NEGRA, a solo show comprising his darkest and most politically charged works to date. This event will take place in parallel locations LOR Gallery Santo Domingo, Palacio Nacional de Bellas Artes and Centro de la Imagen, and will accompany a homonymous publication encompassing both past and recent artworks of monochrome nature.

How does art keep you going during difficult times?

Art is the outlet that keeps me grounded. No matter how bad a situation gets- if I can physically create something, then I feel I still exist. I’m still ok.

How has your art practice been affected by self-isolation?

It is a continuation of my normal life, with stricter measures. A normal day for me is painting isolated in my studio. Now that isolation is forced- It makes me crave human contact and search for deeper human meaning.

How are you staying creative?

It is a no- choice situation for me. I am lucky to have found space in my mother’s house- where I have been in quarantine, and am lucky I had materials already waiting for me here. I am creating constantly.

Are you creating new work while social distancing?

Yes! I am very inspired, creating in a frenzied state. I haven’t painted this much- in such an urgent way, in a long time. I feel there is a specific situation, that is global and human, and I’d like to document it. I don’t want to live through it without learning something.

Who are some other artists you are moved by right now?

I am moved by the art of Edvard Munch, Egon Schiele, and The German Expressionists. They lived through very hard times, the Spanish Flu is one- Munch survived and painted the experience, Schiele and Klimt for example did not survive. Munch is especially inspiring with his paintings of angst, sickness and human emotion. These artists have always inspired me for their very honest, raw art.

What work of art in your home means the most to you?

My Swedish Grandmother’s sketch book, from her young adult years. It is a mirror into my own soul, I have so much in common with her art yet never knew her. She has always inspired me.

The Kingdom of This World, Reimagined - OPENING DEC 6TH

The Kingdom of This World, Reimagined , curated by Professor in Art History in Texas Tech University Lesley A. Wolff, (Ph.D.) & organized by Marie Vickles, celebrates the 70th anniversary of Cuban writer Alejo Carpentier’s historical novel, The Kingdom of This World (1949). The story follows the trials and tribulations of Ti Noël, an enslaved laborer on a colonial sugar plantation in Saint Domingue. After Ti Noël’s friend, Makandal, loses his arm in an accident and flees the plantation, the events surrounding the Haitian Revolution are set into motion. During this volatile era of revolution and change, Ti Noël struggles to find a place for himself as a free man on an island where he was once enslaved. As Ti Noël’s journey unfolds, so too do the historical events before, during, and after the Haitian Revolution (circa 1791-1804), which Carpentier cleverly weaves into the fictional and marvelous tale of Ti Noël’s many spiritual and physical transformations. This storied novel is credited with helping to launch the literary genre of lo real maravilloso [the marvelous real] in the Western Hemisphere and has served as an archetypal framework for the comminglings of histories and imaginings in the Caribbean since its initial publication seventy years ago.

This exhibition brings to life the slippages of past and present manifest in Carpentier’s masterpiece through a dynamic grouping of contemporary artworks, each of which responds to the novel’s vivid and violent descriptions of colonial enslavement and the struggle for Black freedom and nation. Participating international artists include Dudley Alexis, José Bedia, Edouard Duval-Carrié, Scherezade García, Sergio García, José García Cordero, Simryn Gill, Leah Gordon, Roberto Juárez, and Maggie Steber. The works featured will emphasize painting, photography and mixed media compositions that utilize Carpentier’s imaginative work as the catalyst to engage dialogues about the “Global Caribbean” through themes of revolution, autonomy, history and Caribbean ecologies.

The Little Haiti Cultural Complex will host an opening reception for the exhibition from 4PM to 6PM on Friday, December 6, 2019, which will be precede and followed by receptions for related exhibition programming sponsored by the Little Haiti Cultural Center and the Haitian Cultural Arts Alliance. All programs are free and open to the public.

Opening Re-Fresh

Lyle O. Reitzel is pleased to announce the Group Exhibition “Re-Fresh”, opening Thursday August 15th featuring recent works by Gustavo Peña, Santiago Ydañez, Luis Cruz Azaceta, Edouard Duval-Carríe, Jose García Cordero, Gerard Ellis. The gallery has invited the artists Walkind Rodriguez (DR), Fernanda Brunet (MX), Pierre Monestier (FR), Melissa Mejía-Rizik and Fernando Varela for the exhibit.

About the Exhibition

At a time of heightened division both at home and abroad, imagining a world of shared experience and solidarity between ideologically opposed groups seems like the stuff of dreamwork. Difference, and what to do with it, remains the most significant question of our era and forces a consideration of the role that identity—or, the representation of the individual “self” through personal idiosyncrasies, language, actions, beliefs, appearance, experiences, and forms of social belonging and/or oppression—plays in grappling with heterogeneity in the sociopolitical sphere.

Identity Measures presents a diverse group of artists working in a range of material practices that engage identity not as a fixed structure, but as an insistently mobile and often resistant assemblage of traits and vulnerabilities. This exhibition is predicated on the understanding that identity is shaped by a variety of historical, racial, gendered, socioeconomic, geographical, physical, and ideological experiences through time. By opening up a dialogue about difference through the language of contemporary visual art, this exhibition claims that one’s structural location in the world matters to the articulation of personal and collective identity—a process that poses itself as a dynamic site of agency, creativity, resistance, visibility, ambiguity, and belonging.

This exhibition is organized by the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans, and curated by Dr. Jordan Amirkhani. Support for this exhibition is provided by Sydney & Walda Besthoff, The Helis Foundation, the Welch Family Foundation, and the Visual Arts Exhibition Fund. This exhibition is also supported by the City of New Orleans through a Community Arts Grant, as well as by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council.

About Luis Cruz Azaceta

Luis Cruz Azaceta—a visual artist born in Havana, Cuba—is best known for his paintings, drawing, and mixed-media works. Azaceta emigrated to New York City at the age of 18 where he studied at the School of Visual Arts, and he has lived and worked in New Orleans since 1992. Over the course of his career, Azaceta’s work has addressed war, terrorism, displacement, identity, racism, and collapsing economies. Azaceta has exhibited extensively—both nationally and internationally—and has been awarded grants from organizations, such as The Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, and Joan Mitchell Foundation. His work is in the permanent collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, Museum of Modern Art, New York, and Whitney Museum of Art, New York, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, D.C., Museo De Bellas Artes, Caracas, Venezuela, Marco, and Museo de Arte Contemporaneo De Monterrey, Mexico, among others.

FUNDACIÓN CORTES PRESENTS: TIEMPO, MODO, LUGAR: NUEVA SINTAXIS DE LA PLÁSTICA DOMINICANA

The exhibition drives cultural exchange between The Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico

San Juan, Puerto Rico – The President of Fundación Cortés, Ignacio Cortés Gelpí announced the opening to the general public last Friday 28th of June, of this new exhibition as well as celebration of the strong cultural, social and commercial relationship that unites Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

The peculiar exhibit “Tiempo, modo, lugar: Nueva Sintaxis de la plástica Dominicana” showcases the work of 14 fine artists, nine of them from the Dominican Republic and the rest foreigners, whose works are inspired in The Dominican Republic. 

“At the moment the Dominican Republic is immersed in optimism and vigor worthy of acknowledgment as well as emulation in a lot of instances. “Tiempo, modo, lugar” is a glance at the current perspective of some of the leading contemporary artists from Quisqueya”, pointed out Cortés. 

Cortés added that in the works displayed “you can feel the creative energy that is not only ingrained in what it means to be Dominican, but that is not afraid to search for inspiration and references in a globalized world, of which art cannot scape’”. 

The exhibition focuses as well on the impact that foreign artists have had in the evolution of modern and contemporary painting in the Dominican Republic. According to Cortés, the country has served as an oasis for a group of exceptional artists, who have had the opportunity to continue and develop their work, inspiring local artists, while nourishing their own work. This is why the exhibition includes works by Dominican artists alongside works created by their foreign counterparts. 

Curated by Dr. Adlin Ríos Rigau and Dr. Irene Esteves Amador, the exhibit examines works by artists Charlie Quezada, Raquel Paiewonsky, Gerard Ellis, José García Cordero, Hulda Guzmán, Jorge Pineda, Gustavo Peña, Quisqueya Henríquez, Fernando Varela, José Bedia, Ignacio Iturria, Rafael Ferrer, Eugenio Fernández Granell and Jorge Porto.

Dr. Riós Rigau was a lecturer in the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, where she taught Art History and Appreciation since 1975. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree by the Universidad de Barcelona and Doctor Honoris Causa by the Universidad Central de Bayamón, PR. On her part, Dr. Esteves Amador is an art historian and conservationist. She took courses in Universidad de Puerto Rico, campus de Río Piedras and the Universidad de Sevilla, in Spain, where she obtained a doctor´s degree in restoration and conservation of paintings. 

“It is our goal that this exhibition will contribute in strengthing the relationship of Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic even further, helping us to recognize, understand and enjoy the vitality that characterizes today the next door country”, concluded Cortés. 

The gallery of the Fundación will remain open to the public, weekly and free of cost, from Wednesday to Sunday, from eleven in the morning to five in the afternoon. It is located on the second and third floor of the Casa Cortés Building, in San Francisco street #210 in Old San Juan.

FRIEZE N.Y. 2019: DIÁLOGOS AND ÉDOUARD DUVAL-CARRIÉ

Lyle O. Reitzel Gallery was honored by the invitation to participate with a solo show by laureate Haitian Master Edouard Duval-Carriè in the year ́s installment of Frieze N.Y., one of the most prestigious contemporary art fairs in the world, this past May 2019. The exhibition displayed in the section Diálogos is curated by Patrick Charpenel in celebration of the 50th anniversary of El Museo Del Barrio.

Installing My Life as a Tree.

Edouard Duval-Carrié is a contemporary artist and curator based in Miami, Florida. Born and raised in Haiti, at heart, Duval-Carrié is an educator: he challenges the viewer to make meaning of dense iconography derived from Caribbean history, politics, and religion. 
His mixed media works and installations present migrations and transformations, often human as well as spiritual. Duval Carrié fled the regime of “Papa Doc” Duvalier as a teenager and subsequently resided in places as diverse as Puerto Rico, New York, Montreal, Paris, and Miami. Parallels thus emerge between the artist’s cosmopolitan lifestyle and his artistic sensitivity toward the multifaceted identities that form his native Haiti. His works have been exhibited in significant museums, art institutions, and galleries in Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

Last year, Duval-Carrié celebrated various milestones. Among many was the completion of his largest piece to date: The Saga Of the Baobab, a corten steel structure standing 40 ft tall and weighing more than twenty tons, graces the central atrium of the Musée des Civilisations Noires in Dakar, Senegal, whose government bestowed the artist with The Ordre National du Lion Chevalier. On the same year, he was awarded the first Ellie’s Michaels Richard Award by The Art Center of South Florida acknowledging the artist’s originality and creativity throughout the decades. After residing in Miami for over thirty years, EDC was chosen to receive this recognition alongside an important commission to The Bass Museum in Miami Beach.

For this curated section, the artist created a self-portrait as a self-styled tree drawing from elements of his life. This waterjet-cut lit aluminum piece renders its roots floating and anchor-less. A series of drypoint on plexiglass attest to the artist pursuit of new techniques, as his portraits of challenged Soucouyants and Kings are constructed of bacteria and other microscopic entities.

The selection of new pieces that were exhibited in Diálogos portray Duval-Carrié’s exploration of themes such as silenced slavery and Haitian mythology. Characterized by their pristine aesthetics and meaningful storyline, their materiality and selective color palette captures the eye and highlight the message, while his hand etching and delicate placement of shapes and symbols create an ageless and abstract experience. Duval-Carrié’s work is and will remain to be admired and talked about through generations as well as diverse political climates.

Lyle O. Reitzel Gallery is the result of 24 years of hard work, successfully becoming a catalyst for artists in the contemporary art scene of the Dominican Republic. By vicariously working with a selection of Dominican, Caribbean and Latin American artists the gallery has placed the Dominican Republic in the artistic map. LOS BRAVÚ: “E’TO TIGUERE TAN BIEN CHIVO”

La galería Lyle O. Reitzel Arte Contemporáneo se complace en presentar, por primera vez en República Dominicana a uno de sus más recientes descubrimientos artísticos, se trata de la propuesta emergente del fantástico dúo español Los Bravú quienes exhibirán su solo show “‘E’to Tiguere Tan Bien Chivo’” el próximo 4 de abril, 2019 en nuestro espacio de la Torre Piantini de 7-10:30pm.

Los Bravú, nombre que traducido al gallego significa fragancia de animal silvestre, viven y trabajan en Pontevedra y están conformados por la pareja Dea Gómez (Salamanca, 1988) y Diego Omil (Pontevedra, 1989) ambos licenciados en Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Salamanca. Sus obras de una factura impecable y fresca, ejecutadas a cuatro manos, manifiestan un temprano lenguaje particular que se nutre de la iconografía renacentista, fusionada con elementos y espacios cotidianos de la vida contemporánea.  Los protagonistas de sus obras son jóvenes anónimos de miradas absortas que recorren escenas de gran formato con referencias a las nuevas tecnologías y comunicación digital.

Los Bravú en Samaná, República Dominicana

La novel dupla, con una carrera en franco ascenso, son los invitados a formar parte de la segunda edición de la Residencia/Taller “El Portillo”, Samaná con la colaboración de Valeria De Moya. En este espacio idílico caribeño producirán parte esencial de las obras a exhibirse en LOR Gallery. La primera experiencia de este proyecto piloto fue ejecutada en 2016 por el maestro Uruguayo Ignacio Iturria quien nos dejó huellas indelebles con su impronta.

Los Bravú han expuesto en galerías y festivales internacionales como el FIN de Angoulême, JUSTMAD, Estampa y Matadero Madrid, El Parche en Bogotá. Sus obras forman parte de las colecciones DKV y de la Real Academia de España en Roma. Recientemente, ingresan a la importante ‘Fundación Casa Cortés’, San Juan, Puerto Rico, y ‘Colección Mariano Yera’, una de las más importantes de España, la cual abarca pintura de gran formato de la segunda mitad del siglo XX a la actualidad.

La exposición estará abierta al público hasta el 15 de mayo del 2019 en Lyle O. Reitzel Gallery Santo Domingo.

Lyle O. Reitzel gallery is pleased to introduce one of their most recent artistic discoveries, up-and-coming Spanish Dúo Los Bravú, by announcing their first solo show in Santo Domingo. Their exhibition titled “E’to Tiguere Tan Bien Chivo” will take place starting 7 PM April 4th 2019 in our gallery space in Torre Piantini.

Los Bravú, Galician word that roughly translates as a wild animal’s scent, is composed by Dea Gómez (Salamanca, 1988) and Diego Omil (Pontevedra, 1989), both Fine Art graduates from University of Salamanca established in Pontevedra. Their impeccable pieces, fruit of simultaneous work by the dúo, manifested early on a distinctive and fresh aesthetic inspired by Italian renaissance imagery merged with elements and surroundings of contemporary life.

The novel Dúo has been invited to the second edition for the artist residency hosted at El Portillo, Samaná in collaboration with Valeria De Moya. In this idyllic caribbean atmosphere, Los Bravú will produce key pieces that will be exhibited in their upcoming show. The first edition of this residency in 2016, pioneered by Uruguayan Ignacio Iturria, left an indelible imprint as a master of his artistry under the new warmth of tropical light.

Los Bravú have exhibited in international galeries and festivals such as FIN de Angoulême, JUSTMAD, Estampa & Matadero Madrid, and El Parche in Bogotá. Their pieces are part of important collections like DKV and La Real Academia de España in Rome. Currently they’re exhibited in the renowned ‘Fundación Casa Cortés’, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and ‘Colección Mariano Yera’, whose collection of larger paintings transcends from half of the XX century to the present.

SCOTT DANIEL ELLISON’S “WOODLAND FABLES” – EXTENDED BY POPULAR DEMAND

Due to overwhelming interest, Lyle O. Reitzel Gallery is proud to announce the extension of Scott Daniel Ellison’s “Woodland Fables” through mid-January. We would like to again extend an invitation to any and all who have not had the opportunity to see this incredible collection of works by the talented New York oil painter.

CONGRATULATIONS TO EDOUARD DUVAL-CARRIÉ ON THE SAGA OF THE BAOBAB

Lyle O. Reitzel gallery congratulates our artist Edouard Duval-Carrié for the completion of his largest piece to date, The Saga Of the Baobab a 40ft tall cortene steel structure weighing more than twenty tons. The piece is installed in the central atrium of the newly opened Musée des Civilisations Noires located in the center of the capital of Senegal, Dakar. Built by the Senegalese Government with cooperation from the Chinese Government, the museum will be devoted to presenting and preserving the arts, culture, and history of Continental Africa, as well as that of all of the African Diasporas worldwide. The museum was inaugurated by the president of Senegal, Macky Sall on December 6, 2018. In addition, Edouard Duval-Carrié was honored The Ordre National du Lion Chevalier amongst various personalities.

Reitzel Gallery exhibited in Context Art Miami 2015, during Art Basel Miami Beach. The interviewer questioned why Lyle O. Reitzel gallery was the only Dominican gallery present in Art Miami 2015. Lyle O. Reitzel Gallery has been participating in diverse art fairs for the past 20 years.

La exposición presenta lo Nuevo del fantástico dúo español “Los Bravú”. El Retorno del artista cubano Gustavo Acosta (1958) y Lo Inesperado protagonizado por el artista dominicano Juan Mayí (1963). Se integran así mismo los íconos cubanos Luis Cruz Azaceta (1942) y José Bedia (1959), el Maestro uruguayo Ignacio Iturria (1949) y como contraparte dominicana se suman José García Cordero(1951), Raúl Recio (1965), Gerard Ellis (1976) y Gustavo Peña (1979). Por último, presentamos al gran artista contemporáneo Walter Iraheta (El Salvador, 1968) entre muchos otros. La exposición continuara abierta al publico hasta el 31 de Enero del 2019.

Espacio Vivo: The New, The Comeback, The Unexpected.

Lyle O. Reitzel Gallery founded in 1995, celebrates 23 years of uninterrupted trajectory representing the national and international contemporary art scene. LOR Gallery introduces their new collective show titled Espacio Vivo: The New, The Comeback, The Unexpected in their Santo Domingo headquarters this 23rd of November, 2018.

This exhibition comprises of a body of work composed by several artists of different backgrounds, style and generations.

The New is represented by the emerging Spanish Duo “Los Bravú”. Dea Gómez (1988) and Diego Omil (1989) established in Pontevedra, Spain. The artists came together to create a unique language influenced by Italian Renascentist iconography juxtaposed with contemporary elements. In addition, renowned artist Jesús Zurita (Ceuta, 1975) established in Granada, Spain, introduces pieces defined by his attention to detail and his relationship with images and media, which is why film, animation, comics and literature are key items in his work.

The Comeback of Cuban artist Gustavo Acosta (1958) solidifies the show with his enigmatic compositions in which architecture, symbolism and abstract imagery trigger the spectators collective memory. Starring The Unexpected is Dominican artist Juan Mayí (1963), whose explosive and expressive brushstrokes complement his experimental abstractionism, resulting in captivating artwork.

In addition, we exhibit the works of Iconic cuban artists Luis Cruz Azaceta (1942) and José Bedia (1959), Uruguayan maestro Ignacio Iturria (1949), winner of the Venice Biennial, Edouard Duval-Carrié (1954, Haití), recently honored with the first Ellie Michael Richards price awarded by Art Center/South Florida, and Santiago Ydáñez (1969, Jaén), recipient of the BMW Painting Award 2018. Joining Mayí in the exhibition, are fellow Dominican artists José García Cordero(1951), Raúl Recio (1965), Gerard Ellis (1976) and Gustavo Peña (1979). Lastly, the great contemporary artist Walter Iraheta (El Salvador, 1968) re-incorporates the team showcasing his new series of drawings on paper “Gente Armada”.

LOR Gallery is the result of 23 years of hard work, successfully becoming a catalyst for the contemporary art scene in the Dominican Republic. By vigorously working with a selection of dominican, caribbean and latin american artists LOR Gallery helped place the Dominican Republic on the artistic map. With the use of basic tools such as intuition, a critical eye and a particular taste that transcends fashion and tendencies, LOR Gallery discovers new talents while supporting established ones in a multicultural atmosphere; because of this, it has elevated artists by placing their work in private and international collections.

Through 2006-2010 LOR Gallery established its presence in the international market opening a new space in Wynwood Art District. In June 2016 its branch in New York inaugurated with José García Cordero’s solo show titled “Tales From the Caribbean Nights”.

LOR Gallery has organized numerous exhibitions in museums, institutions and galleries worldwide, including its participation in some of the most prestigious international art fairs such as: ARCO, Madrid; VOLTA, New York; CONTEXT Art, Miami; Art Miami, CONTEXT New York, ARTE BA, Buenos Aires. Espacio Vivo: Lo Nuevo, El Retorno, Lo Inesperado.

La Galería de Arte Contemporáneo Lyle O. Reitzel, fundada en 1995 y con sede en N.Y. celebra sus 23 años de trayectoria ininterrumpida en la escena nacional e internacional con un impactante show colectivo titulado “Espacio Vivo: Lo nuevo, el retorno y lo inesperado” en su sede principal en Santo Domingo el próximo 23 de noviembre 2018.

La exhibición reúne un cuerpo de obras inéditas de artistas de múltiples estilos, generaciones y procedencia geográfica.

Lo Nuevo es representado con la propuesta emergente del fantástico dúo español “Los Bravú”, conformado por Dea Gómez (1988) y Diego Omil (1989) y establecidos en Pontevedra, quienes desarrollan una carrera ascendente con un lenguaje muy particular, influenciados por la iconografía renacentista Italiana con elementos contemporáneos. Al mismo tiempo se suma el reconocido artista Jesús Zurita (Ceuta, 1974) quien vive y trabaja en Granada, de una obra narrativa, con gran atención sobre la composición del plano pictórico y la relación entre las imágenes; por lo que no es de extrañar que el cine, la animación, el cómic y la literatura sean manantiales que le proporcionan caudal.

El Retorno del artista cubano Gustavo Acosta (1958) es significativo y un gran aporte al show con sus obras enigmáticas donde la arquitectura funge como símbolo y sus patrones geométricos se instalan en la memoria colectiva. En el territorio de Lo Inesperado es protagonizado por el laureado artista dominicano Juan Mayí (1963), tan explosivo e irreverente como sus experimentaciones abstractas.

Se integran así mismo los íconos cubanos Luis Cruz Azaceta (1942) y José Bedia (1959), el Maestro uruguayo Ignacio Iturria (1949), ganador de la Bienal de Venecia, Edouard Duval-Carrié (1954, Haití), reconocido recientemente con el premio Ellie Michael Richards otorgado por Art Center/South Florida, y Santiago Ydáñez (1969, Jaén), ganador del Premio de Pintura BMW 2018. Como contraparte dominicana se suman José García Cordero(1951), Raúl Recio (1965), Gerard Ellis (1976) y Gustavo Peña (1979). Por último, se reintegra a LOR Gallery el gran artista contemporáneo Walter Iraheta (El Salvador, 1968) un comeback muy esperado, presentando su nueva serie de dibujos en papel “Gente Armada”.

LOR Arte Contemporáneo  es el reflejo de un trabajo incansable y sistemático que inicia hace 23 años, fomentando el desarrollo de la carrera de artistas dominicanos, caribeños e iberoamericanos de vanguardia, desde República Dominicana hacia el mundo, con coherencia y una selección impecable, utilizando como herramientas básicas un ojo crítico, la intuición y un gusto particular que trasciende modas y tendencias, descubriendo nuevos talentos emergentes y apoyando un importante grupo de artistas multigeneracionales al elevarlos al nivel de sus pares en otras latitudes e integrando sus obras al coleccionismo internacional privado e institucional.
