Interformas

Lyle O. Reitzel Contemporary Art Gallery, founded in 1995 and with a new branch in New York, presents -for the first time in Santo Domingo- the renowned Uruguayan artist Ignacio Iturria, featuring his most recent individual exposition "Interformas" or “Intershapes”. The opening, which will be attended by the artist, will take place on Thursday, October 6th, since 7:00 p.m. in the first floor of Torre Piantini.
The “forge” of this exhibition project named "Intershapes" is the result of more than a year of collaboration between the artist, the Iturria Foundation and Lyle O. Reitzel, the gallery owner, its curator, who selected a series of artworks, mostly unpublished, including drawings, paintings and art objects. Iturria is already in the country and has expressed his fascination with its people and the Caribbean idiosyncrasy, working in an idyllic place while producing new pieces to enrich this collection.
