Geometría & Cuerpo: Dos Artistas Argentinos
Marzo 2025Como parte de la celebración de nuestro 30 aniversario y recién llegada de ZⓈONAMACO 2025, Lyle O. Reitzel Arte Contemporáneo se complace en presentar Geometría & Cuerpo: Dos Artistas Argentinos, un Doble Solo Show de Gerardo Feldstein y Mariano Ferrante, dos voces fundamentales del arte contemporáneo argentino. La exposición inaugura el miércoles 19 de febrero a las 7:00 p. m. en la Torre Piantini, con entrada libre al público.
Esta exhibición introduce por primera vez en en el país el trabajo de dos creadores que, desde enfoques distintos pero complementarios, exploran la relación entre el cuerpo, la forma, el espacio y la percepción.
Mariano Ferrante es un investigador incansable de la pintura, donde el color y la geometría se convierten en herramientas de exploración visual. Su serie Círculo Mágico desafía la percepción del espectador, generando un juego óptico que invita al movimiento y a la contemplación. Con un lenguaje vibrante y preciso, sus composiciones construyen espacios donde la técnica y el concepto convergen en un delicado equilibrio.
Gerardo Feldstein nos sumerge en un universo donde las proporciones del cuerpo humano se distorsionan para cuestionar nuestra propia percepción de la realidad. A través de manos y pies sobredimensionados, su obra nos habla de emociones, gestos y tensiones universales. Inspirado en la frase “el cuerpo no miente”, el artista nos invita a repensar la humanidad desde lo extraordinario, incorporando humor y sensibilidad en cada pieza. Geometría & Cuerpo es una oportunidad única para descubrir la diversidad del arte contemporáneo argentino a través de dos miradas que dialogan entre lo geométrico y lo orgánico, la razón y la emoción.

As part of the celebration of our 30th anniversary and freshly returned from ZⓈONAMACO 2025, Lyle O. Reitzel Contemporary Art is pleased to present Geometría & Cuerpo: Two Argentine Artists, a Double Solo Show featuring Gerardo Feldstein and Mariano Ferrante, two fundamental voices in contemporary Argentine art. The exhibition opens on Wednesday, February 19, at 7:00 PM at Torre Piantini, with free admission to the public.
This exhibition introduces for the first time in the country the work of two creators who, from distinct yet complementary approaches, explore the relationship between the body, form, space, and perception.
Mariano Ferrante is an indefatigable researcher of painting, where color and geometry become tools for visual exploration. His series Círculo Mágico challenges the viewer's perception, creating an optical game that invites movement and contemplation. With a vibrant and precise language, his compositions construct spaces where technique and concept converge in delicate balance.
Gerardo Feldstein immerses us in a universe where the proportions of the human body are distorted to question our own perception of reality. Through oversized hands and feet, his work speaks of universal emotions, gestures, and tensions. Inspired by the phrase "the body does not lie," the artist invites us to rethink humanity from the extraordinary, incorporating humor and sensitivity in each piece.
Geometría & Cuerpo is a unique opportunity to discover the diversity of contemporary Argentine art through two perspectives that engage in dialogue between the geometric and the organic, reason and emotion.
