Context Art Miami 2016
Lyle O. Reitzel Contemporary Art Gallery, founded in 1995, with main location in Santo Domingo and a new branch space in New York has been selected for the 5th consecutive time to participate in the prestigious art fair "Context Art Miami" during the cultural chasm that's "Art Basel Miami Beach 2016" from the 29th of November till the 4th of December. Lyle O. Reitzel Gallery will be located in booth #316 of "Context Art Miami" - just one block away from the "Art Miami 2016" pavilion in midtown Miami.
LOR presents a selection of deep impact with works from 3 generations of dominican artists, José Garcia Cordero, Gerard Ellis and Scherezade Garcia, the cuban icons José Bedia as well as Luis Cruz Azaceta, the uruguayan master Ignacio Iturria, the haitian artist Edouard Duval-Carrié and the american artist Ray Smith. Included in this show are unpublished works by master painter Ignacio Iturria. These works are part of a new series that his beloved artist has made in the Dominican Republic.
